2/28/2012:
DI inflation is ongoing while Kilauea volcano continued to erupt at two locations: On the east rift zone, scattered lava breakouts continued from the Nov. 29 flow near Kalapana. At the summit, the lava lake level continued to recede within an eruptive vent inset within the east wall of Halema`uma`u Crater. Sulfur dioxide emission rates from the summit and east rift zone vents remained elevated.
